Adell Eastwood Lucas June 12, 1933 – September 4, 2015 Adell Eastwood Lucas, 82, of Wilson passed away Friday. A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Evergreen Memorial Park, Wilson. The Rev. Dr. Billy Toler will officiate. The family will receive friends Tuesday morning 11:30 – 1:30 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. Adell loved her career which included working at BB&T and Merrill Lynch, where she was dedicated. She served the Lord and was a member of First FWB Church in Wilson. Adell is survived by her nephew, Jimmy Wayne Gay and wife, Doris of Walstonburg; her great nieces, Olivia Gay of Kenly and Rebecca Gay of Bailey, and several cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronnie Lucas; her parents, Crawford and Bessie Ann Eastwood; her sisters, Lillian Gay and Sarah Denton; her brother, Robert Eastwood, and her nephew, Allen Denton. In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested in Adell’s honor to the First Free Will Baptist Church, 4865 Nash Street NW, Wilson, NC 27896. Condolences may be directed to www.joyners.net.
