Adelle Johnson Barbee, 84, of Wilson passed away Tuesday.-Funeral services will be conducted 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Joyner-s Funeral Home.-Interment will follow in Maplewood Cemetery.-The Rev. Ed Earp will officiate.

The family will receive friends 1:00 - 2:15 p.m. prior to the service at Joyner-s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson.

Adelle is survived by her daughters, Helen B. Hargis of Clayton and Nancy Barbee of Orlando, FL; her sons, William Barbee of Sylvania, GA, Steve Barbee of Kenly and Jim Barbee of Kenly; twelve grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Barbee; her parents, Wiley Herod Johnson and Mary Ida Hawley Johnson; her sister, Beulah Klein and her brothers, Ernest Johnson, Aubrey Johnson and Graham Johnson.
