Aileen Whitehead Davis August 2, 1932 – March 9, 2020 Aileen Whitehead Davis, 87, of Elm City passed away Monday. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday in Cedar Grove Cemetery. The Rev. Wayne Whitley will officiate. Aileen is survived by her son, Randy Davis and wife, Angela Langley Davis; daughter, Lu Davis and Amanda Park; grandchildren, Matthew and Franklin Davis; sisters, Nancy Buscemi of Wilson and Libby Bodiford of Panama City, Florida. She was preceded in death by her husband, A.R. “Pookie” Davis, daughter, JoAnne Whitehead Davis; nephew Case Ashmore Bodiford; and her parents, Clyde and Lucille Whitehead. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Aileen’s memory to Shriners Hospitals for Children, 403 East Front Street, New Bern, North Carolina 28560-4916.
