Albert Allen Turner

Albert Allen Turner November 3, 1931 – September 25, 2015 Albert Allen Turner, 83, of Lucama passed away Friday. His funeral will be held 7 p.m. Monday at Joyner’s Funeral Home. A graveside service will be conducted 11 a.m. Tuesday in Evergreen Memorial Park, Wilson. The Rev. Dr. DeWayne Eakes will officiate. The family will receive friends Monday evening immediately following the service at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway and other times at the home. Albert was retired from Wilson Memorial Hospital and he was a member of the Little Rock FWB Church where he served the Lord. He enjoyed the outdoors, loved cutting the grass and always willing to help others. Albert was a friend to all and he loved his family; he will be missed and remembered as, Albert, with a heart of gold. Albert is survived by his wife of sixty-two years, Margie T. Turner of the home; his son, Lynwood Turner and wife, Gail of Kenly; his grandson, Daniel Turner and wife, Ashleigh of North Myrtle Beach; his great-granddaughters, who were the apple of his eyes and the ones he loved to spoil; Mia Grace Turner and Makenna Ann Turner both of North Myrtle Beach, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, James William and Rebecca Connor Turner; three sisters, and four brothers.
