Alice Marie Pittman Turner

Alice Marie Pittman Turner April 8, 1935 – September 5, 2015 Alice Marie Pittman Turner, 80, of Wilson passed away Saturday. Her funeral will be conducted 11 a.m. Wednesday at Joyner’s Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Maplewood Cemetery. The Rev. David Turner and the Rev. Danny Bunn, Jr. will officiate. The family will receive friends 6 – 8 p.m. Tuesday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson and other times at the home. Alice was a Wal Mart greeter for over fifteen years. Alice is survived by her daughter, Linda Faye Turner Carter of Wilmington; her son, Danny L. Turner of Wilson; her granddaughter, Angie Hill Hucks of Clayton; her grandson, Ron Hill of Wilmington; her great-granddaughter, Miranda Hucks of Clayton, and her sister, Bessie Pridgen of Wilson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev.
