Allen Ray Mattox

Allen Ray Mattox February 8, 1945 – April 7, 2018 Allen Ray Mattox, 73, of Wilson passed away Saturday. His funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. The family will receive prior to the service from 1 – 1:45 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home. Allen is survived by his wife, Mary Keen Mattox of the home; his daughters, Donna Faye Stroud and husband, Ronald of Wilson, Rhonda Goggio of Bailey, Brandi High of Sims, and Tammy Sharpe of Wilson; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren, and his brother, Garland Mattox and wife, Bertha of Lucama. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Nellie Varnell Mattox, and brothers, Troy Mattox and David Mattox.
