Amanda Lynn Sutton November 9, 1982 – February 7, 2017 Amanda Lynn Sutton, 34, of Wilson passed away Tuesday. Her funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at First Presbyterian Church, 414 Sunset Road, Wilson.  Interment will follow in Boykin Family Cemetery, Hwy 42, Kenly.  The Rev. Dr. Tom Watkins will officiate. The family will receive friends at the home of her mother, Connie after the funeral. Amanda is survived by her mother and step-father, Connie Carter and Gary of Kenly, and step-brother, Phillip Carter of Charlotte; her father, Danny Lynn Sutton of Wilson; grandmother, Mary Ellen Sutton of Wilson; her cousins, Angie Brantley & husband, Robbie of Bailey, Jessica Tanner and husband, Mike of Bunn, Robert Sutton and wife, Ashley of Bailey, Sara Buchanan and husband, John of Raleigh, Jason Karr and wife, Brooke of Clayton, Brooke Zepeda and husband, David of Wendell, Shea Bailey and wife, Meghan of High Point, Kelsey Riordan and husband, Benton of Clayton, and Logan Boykin of Chapel Hill; her aunts, Beth Karr and husband, Mike of Clayton, and Lynn Bailey of Zebulon; her uncles Will Boykin and wife, Kathleen of Raleigh, and William Dawson Sutton of Wilson; great-aunt, Peggy Holland of Kenly; step-uncle, Scott Carter and wife, Christy of Zebulon; her special friend, David Franzwa of Wilson; Little Dave of Wilson, who was like a son to her, and her many friends that she has made over the year. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, William Jack Sutton, and grandparents, Wilmer Boykin and Glennie Watson Boykin.
