Andrew David Speight, Sr. June 3, 1934 – January 4, 2019 Andrew David Speight, Sr., 84, of Wilson passed away Friday. His funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Joyner’s Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The Rev. Shawn Garnett will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Monday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson and other times at the home of his daughter Teresa Powell. Andrew is survived by his daughters, Teresa Powell and husband, William of Bailey, Vicky Speight of Jacksonville, Florida, Debbie Mitchell and husband, Donald of Kenly; son, Andrew D. Speight, Jr. and wife, Beth of Kenly; granddaughters, Kandice Speight and Jayne Speight; grandson, Joshua Speight and wife, Denise; his sister, Ruth Murphy of Prince Fredrick, Maryland; and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Cathy Speight. Flowers are welcome or donations may be sent to Joyner’s Funeral Home, P.O.
