Angela Hope Williams Walston
August 19, 1955 – February 7, 2020
Angela Hope Williams Walston, 64 of Kenly passed away Friday. Her funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Monday evening at Farmington Heights Church of God, 910 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Evergreen Memorial Park, Wilson. The Rev. LaVon Phillips will officiate.
The family will receive friends Monday afternoon from 4 – 6:45 p.m. at Farmington Heights Church of God, Wilson and other times at the home.
Hope was a life-long member of Farmington Heights Church of God; she was a pillar of faith and served faithfully, where she touched many lives with her kindness. Hope was known for her bright smile and positive spirit. She battled cancer for twenty- one years, but she never wavered in knowing she would be healed.
The family would like to express thanks to Dr. Lerro and his staff at Regional Medical Oncology for their exceptional care and compassion.
Hope is survived by her loving husband of thirty-five years, Connie Mack Walston of the home; son, Tyler Walston and wife, Brooke of Kenly; granddaughter, Emma Walston; sister, Cindy Thorne and husband, Dee of Wilson; niece, Tammy Harold and husband, Troy; nephew, Anthony Thorne; great niece, Shaelyn Harold and her great-nephew, Camden Harold.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dearline Williams and Jerry Williams; maternal grandparents, Emma and Nollie Smith and paternal grandparents, Marvis and Robert Williams.
