Joyce Ann Whitley Pollock October 8, 1941 – August 18, 2021 Joyce Ann Whitley Pollock, 79 of Wilson passed away Wednesday. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday morning in Maplewood Cemetery, Wilson. The Rev. Jerry Barbee will officiate. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6 – 8 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. Ann is survived by her daughters, Pam Poole and husband, Louis, and Kelly Turner; sons, Tony Pollock and wife, Lucinda, and Mike Pollock and wife, Debbie; grandchildren, Chris Walston and wife, Lily, Todd Walston and wife, Jessica, Brian Pollock and wife, Leigh Ann, Elizabeth Turner, Kimberlin Pollock, and Dylan Pollock, and her great-grandchildren, Haley Walston, Alana Robbins, Colton Walston, Addilyn Pollock, and Mason Walston. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles V. Pollock; daughter, Susan Kim Pollock, parents, Cindy Cawthorne, and William “Bill” Whitley, her brother, Daniel Whitley.
