Anne Jones Davis

Anne Jones Davis, 76 of Elm City passed away Thursday.  Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, June, 12 at Crosspointe Baptist Church, 400 East Main Street, Fremont.  Interment will follow in Macclesfield Town Cemetery, Macclesfield.  Rev. David Varnell will officiate.

The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 1 – 2:45 p.m. Sunday at Crosspointe Baptist Church, Fremont.

Anne is survived by her husband, Jimmie Davis; son, Kevin Jones and wife, Suzy of Sims; stepson, Rocky Davis of Pennsylvania; stepdaughter, Ginger Davis of Wilmington; grandchildren, Brooke Whitley and husband, Joel, Luke Jones, Faith Jones, Brandon Core and wife, Megan, Brianna Holly and husband, Jacob, Minh Vu, Brady Davis, Carrigan Davis, Holden Davis, and Emmet Davis; great-grandchildren, Abby and Thomas Holly, and Daniel Core, and her sisters, Faye Wooten and husband, Bobby of Elm City, Bea Rackley of Rocky Mount, and Marylou House of Wilson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mack and Sadie Webb; sisters, Hazel Outlaw, and Geraldine Webb, and her brother, Mack “Bill” Webb.

The pallbearers are Luke Jones, Joel Whitley, Dillon Wooten, Dakota Wilson, Kevin Jones, and Keith McClung.
