Annette Ferrell Franks September 4, 1964 – April 6, 2017 Annette Ferrell Franks, 52, of Black Creek passed away Thursday. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Monday at Black Creek United Methodist Church. Interment will follow in Black Creek Cemetery. The Rev. Tuck Taylor-Loveland will officiate. The family will receive friends at other times at the residence. Annette is survived by her husband, Elton R. Franks Jr., of the home; her son, Elton Alexander “Alex” Franks, of Black Creek; her sister, Penny Sue Thorne, of Black Creek; her brothers, Anderson “Andy” Ferrell and husband, Dirk Lumbard, of Old Sparta and Ronald Gray Ferrell, and wife, Beth Phillips Ferrell, of Old Sparta; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifton and Sarah Ferrell; her brother, Donald Ray Ferrell and her brother-in-law, Charles Ray Thorne.
