Annie Belle Lamm Mercer January 9, 1922 – March 2, 2020 Annie Belle Lamm Mercer, 98 of Wilson passed away Monday. Her funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 7, 2020 at Joyner’s Funeral Home, Wilson. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park, Wilson. The Rev. Ray Barnhill and Rev. Mark Harrell will officiate. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 5 – 7 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. Annie Belle was a long-time member of Forest Hills Baptist Church and loved her church dearly. She loved to quilt, sew and cook. Annie Belle was a loving person that served her Lord faithfully and her family. She will be dearly missed. Annie is survived by her daughters, Barbara Ann Mercer of the home and Judy Mercer Mallard and husband, Edgar of Fremont; grandsons, Robert Collins Mallard and wife, Laura of Jupiter, Florida and Brian Mallard and wife, Lindsay of Rotonda West, Florida; great-granddaughters, Anabel Mallard, Grace Ann Mallard and Elizabeth Mallard and great-grandson, Jonathan Mallard. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Mercer, Jr; parents, Wiley Harvey and Mattie Ann Joyner Lamm; sisters, Retha Thorne, Betty Christine Barnes and Agnes Lamm Maxton and her brothers, Richard Thomas Lamm and Wiley “Bud” Lamm.
