Armeates Brewer Brown, 86, of Bailey passed away Monday.  Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Thursday at New Sandy Hill Free Will Baptist Church, 8021 New Sandy Hill Church Road, Bailey.  Interment will follow in Bailey Town Cemetery.  Rev. Anderson Barnes and Rev. Charles Petit will officiate. The family will receive friends 7 – 9 p.m. Wednesday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson and other times at the home. Armeates was a devoted Christian that loved her Lord.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to all that knew her.  She was loved and will be greatly missed and thought of often with smiles and memories that will bring joy. Armeates is survived by her daughters, Diane Perry and husband, Danny of Bailey and Sandra Nichols and husband, Charles of Bailey; her son, Andy Brown and wife, Ann-Marie of Wilson; her 10 grandchildren; her thirteen great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild and her daughter-in-law, Shirley Brown. She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren Brown; her son, Danny Brown; and her parents, Pharaoh Brewer and Lettie Denton Brewer. Condolences may be directed to www.joyners.net.
