Audrey Faye Walston Council

Audrey Faye Walston Council, 84, of Wilson, passed away on Tuesday. A Funeral Service will be held at 7:30 p.m., on Thursday, October 27, 2022, at Joyner’s Funeral Home. Rev. Carroll Bradbury will officiate. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 5:30 – 7:30.

Entombment will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Friday, October 28, 2022, in Evergreen Memorial Park.

Faye is survived by her loving husband, James Herbert Council of the home; son, James Council, Jr. and wife, Angie of Wilson; sisters, Helen Davis and husband, Butch and Debbie Corbett and husband, Beamon both of Elm City; granddaughter, Jama Flanagan and husband, Jake of Farmville and great grandchildren, Jase and Jessa Flanagan and a host of loving nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Kinchen and Mary Walston.
