Austin, born on July 25, 1992, was always full of life, laughter, and love. No matter where you saw him, he always had that big, contagious smile on his face and was ready to make a joke, and more importantly, make you laugh. He just had a way of making everyone so comfortable and at ease. Even from a young age, Austin had big dreams and was always on the move. As big as his dreams were, his heart was even bigger. He never met a stranger and loved with all of himself.
Speaking of love, Austin loved his sons, Colton and Liam, more than anything. He was a great father and showed it by desiring and giving his time to them. Austin poured his heart and soul into raising Colton and Liam, imparting not only his sense of humor but also his unwavering love and support. The bond they shared was a testament to Austin's commitment to his family.
Where there was a pond, Austin was fishing…and likely jumping in not long after. Where there was a party, Austin was the life of it. Where there was a song, Austin was dancing and singing along. And, where there was family, Austin was always in the middle of everyone, making us laugh and never missing any event, big or small.
Austin's love for life was infectious, leaving an indelible mark on those who had the privilege of knowing him. He had a unique ability to turn ordinary moments into extraordinary memories. Whether he was casting a line, cracking a joke, or simply being present with loved ones, Austin had a way of making every moment special. His absence leaves a void that can never be filled, but his memory will live on in the laughter, love, and joy he brought to us all.
Austin is survived by his loving sons, Colton Twisdale and Liam Hales, his wife, Alicia Twisdale, his parents, Renee Bagwell (Stacy) and Scottie Twisdale, his siblings, Brittany Twisdale, Whitley Hawley, Jenny Clark, and Chris Hawkins, his grandparents, Betty Jo and Dennis Currie and Sheila and James Lamm, his many aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind a large extended family and countless friends who will miss him dearly. The impact Austin had on our lives will forever be remembered and his legacy will live on in our smiles and laughter.
Austin is now reunited with those who preceded him in death, including his grandparents, Earl Whitley, Charles Lively, Mike Twisdale, and Christy Twisdale. His uncle Michael Twisdale, and his longtime friend, Bryson Carr.
A Memorial Service will be held at Joyner’s Funeral Home on Friday, December 29th at 3:30pm with a visitation to follow.
