Barbara Wheeler Hill October 22, 1930 – February 22, 2015 Barbara Wheeler Hill, 84, of Wilson passed away Sunday. Her memorial service will be conducted 3 p.m. Wednesday at Joyner’s Funeral Home. The Rev. Paul Dunham will officiate. The family will receive friends 1:30 p.m. – 2:45 p.m. Wednesday prior to her service at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway. Barbara is survived by her daughters, Gloria Hill Rice and husband, Charles of Lexington, South Carolina, Deborah Faulconer and husband, Eck of Greensboro, and Barbara Mercer of Wilson; granddaughter, Stephanie R. Jones and husband, Neil; grandsons, Charles Rice II, Lucas James Faulconer and John Hunter Kinney and her great-granddaughters, Emery Jones and Merritt Jones. She was preceded in death by her husband, David Rudolph Hill. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society, c/o Mrs. C.A.
