Barbara Williams Measley May 4, 1948 – September 12, 2017   Barbara Williams Measley, 69, of Wilson passed away Tuesday. Her memorial Services will be conducted at 7 p.m. Friday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, Wilson. The Rev. Buddy Wagnon will officiate. The family will receive friends immediately following the memorial service at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway. Barbara was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and a friend to all that knew her. She will be deeply missed. Barbara is survived by her loving husband of forty-six years, Thomas Measley of the home; her son, Kevin Measley of Knightdale; grandsons, Aaron Measley and Braden Measley, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Nellie Morris Williams; three sisters, and two brothers. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorials in Barbara’s honor to be directed to the Hospice of Wilson, 1705 Tarboro Street SW, Wilson, North Carolina 27893.
