Barbara White Swain, 75, of Black Creek passed away Monday.   Funeral services will be conducted 7 p.m. Thursday at Joyner's Funeral Home.   A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in Oakdale Cemetery in Washington Town, Washington, NC.   The Rev. LaVon Phillips and Rev. Melvin Barnette will officiate.

The family will receive friends Thursday evening immediately following the service at Joyner's Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway and other times at the home.

Barbara also known as ??Grandma-is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Michele King Spinella and husband, Ernie of Black Creek; her grandsons, William Cameron Spinella and Colin Daniel Spinella both of Black Creek; her sister, Nancy White Whithrow and husband, Fred of Myrtle Beach; her nieces, Elizabeth Dawn Sedlock of Debary, FL, Carmen Paige Adler and Robin White Coble both of Myrtle Beach and her nephew, Marvin Sinclair White III, of Gaston Lake.

??Grandma-was preceded in death by her husband, Avalon ??Al-Swain Jr.; her parents, Marvin Sinclair White, Sr. and Elizabeth Felts White; her brother, Marvin Sinclair White, Jr.; and her sister, Elizabeth Joyce Pearce and her twin sister, Beatrice Fleming White and her nephew, Timothy White.
