Belle Jordan Gifford

Belle Jordan Gifford August 20, 1929 – January 30, 2020 Belle Jordan Gifford, 90 of Wilson passed away Thursday. Her funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, Wilson. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park, Wilson. Pastor Jonathan Ange will officiate. The family will receive friends Saturday afternoon from 12:30 – 1:45 p.m. prior to the service at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson and other times at her daughter’s, Gail Harrell. Belle has been a Wilsonian for ninety years. For thirty-nine years she worked as a Pharmacy Technician with Wilson Drug Company. Belle was a member of the Wildwood Free Will Baptist Church, and a past member of the Wilson Rescue Squad Ladies Auxiliary and the treasurer for Fisher’s of Men FWB Church. Belle was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all who knew her, she loved her church and served the Lord with all her heart. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed and thought of often with wonderful memories. Belle is survived by her loving husband of seventy-two years, Rudolph Gifford of the home; daughter, Gail Harrell of Wilson and her grandsons, Aaron Harrell of Wilson and Jordan Harrell of Hayesville. She was preceded in death by her parents, Daniel and Mattie Lee Person Jordan; son-in-law, Ray Harrell; sister, Mary Owens and her brothers, George, Horace, Dan Jordan, Billy and Bobby Jordan.
