Bertha Mae Lucas Boykin Glover, 96, of Sims passed away Wednesday.   Funeral services will be conducted 7 p.m. Sunday at Sims United Methodist Church.   Rev. Barbara High-Tyre and Rev. Charles Robl will officiate.   A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Monday in Maplewood Cemetery, Wilson.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service Sunday evening at Sims United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Glover was a member of Sims United Methodist Church and also a member of the Woman's Society of the church.   She loved traveling, shopping, and eating at Bojangles.   Mrs. Glover was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Surviving are her daughter, Edith Hartley and husband, W.R. of Smithfield; four grandchildren, Christopher Boykin and wife, Lou Ann of Sims, Heather Goodman and husband, Jeff of Tucson, AZ, Wendy Sullivan and husband, Steve of Wilson, and Kyle Hartley and wife, Jennifer of Smithfield; four great-grandchildren, Tanner Sullivan, Taylor Sullivan, Ava Goodman, and Anna Catherine Hartley; a sister, Rachel Pearson of Wilson; two daughters-in-law, Sandra Boykin of Sims and Ernestine Glover of Bailey; and a host of nieces and nephews, including Gloria Allen, Jean Morgan, and Shirley Batts.

She was preceded in death by her two husbands, Lonnie Carl Boykin and Jarvis Duncan Glover; one daughter, Barbara Ann Campbell; one son, Lonnie Carl Boykin, Jr.; parents, Albert and Betty Davis Lucas; two sisters, Varina Vaughn and Agnes Davis; two brothers, Clinton Lucas and A.J. Lucas; and three step-children.
