Bettie "Connie" Renfrow Rosell

 Bettie “Connie” Cornelia Renfrow Rosell, 68, passed away on Tuesday, February 20.  A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 24 at 2:00 pm at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson.  Reverend Steve Strickland will officiate.

  Family will receive friends on Friday, February 23 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Joyner’s Funeral Home.

  Connie was a loving, kind, and deeply affectionate lady who brought smiles to everyone’s faces.  Even in great pain she had the ability to make you laugh.  She loved beach music, the beach, and the sun.  Moreover, she gave beyond herself from deep within, loving unconditionally.  She is now “over the rainbow.”

  Connie is survived by her husband, Mark Rosell; son, Christopher Cole, Sr. of Lucama; daughter-in-law, Nicole of Nashville; grandchildren, Christopher Lee Cole, Jr. of Lucama, Kyler Cole of Nashville, Logan Cole of Lucama, Zoe Elizabeth Cole of Nashville, and Zachary Andrews and wife, Jasmine and their son, Dylan of Rocky Mount; grandchildren, Franklin, Finnigan, Fillip, Finton, and Fival of Texas, and Bradley and Dominic of Florida; brother, Jimmy Renfrow and wife, Martha; nieces, Cathy Garner and husband, Jr. and Amy Hartsfield and husband, Joseph; a host of numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family; and her extended “beach family and friends” from White Oak Shores in Stella, NC.

  Connie was preceded in death by her parents, Wade and Elizabeth Renfrow; brothers, Kenneth Renfrow and Bobby Renfrow; sister, Carolyn Edmundson; and her grandson, Dylan Ramsey.
