Betty Jane Boyette

Betty Jane Boyette, 86 of Wilson passed away Friday, July 12, 2024. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, July 22, 2024, at First Presbyterian Church, 414 Sunset Road NW, Wilson. Pastor Claire Colcord and Rev. Nick Demuynck will officiate. 

The family will receive friends following the service at First Presbyterian Church, Wilson.

 Betty is survived by her sons, Wade Simms Boyette, III and wife, Patricia, and Robert Mitchell Boyette and special friend, Kimberly Carter; grandson, Wade Simms Boyette, IV; granddaughter, Amber Nichole Berberich and husband, Chris Askins; great-grandson, Sagan Askins; sisters, Ann M. Lewis and husband, Warren, and Faye M. Holton and husband, Dean; her brother, Bernice Mitchell and wife, Donna, and Sue Miles and husband, Danny of Raleigh.

 She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert “Bob” H. Boyette; parents, Henry and Sudie Bell Mitchell, and her brother, Kenneth Mitchell.

 The family wishes to express their thanks to Lisa Mooring, Virginia Bissette, and La’Tara Jones for their compassion, care and love they gave to Betty.
