Betty Lee Owens Pridgen November 18, 1933 – November 1, 2016 Betty Lee Owens Pridgen, 82, of Sims passed away Tuesday. Her funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, Wilson. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park, Wilson. The Rev. David Pridgen will officiate. The family will receive friends 12 – 12:45 Friday prior to the service at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson and other times at the home. Betty is survived by her daughter, Kathy Pridgen Bestwick of Sims; her granddaughter, Savannah K. Bestwick of Sims; grandson, Benjamin K. Bestwick of Sims; great-niece, Krystal G. Pridgen of New Mexico, and her great-great nephews, Skylar Pritchett, Aiden Pritchett, and Ethan Pritchett all of Selma.
