Betty Jane Stone

Betty Jane Stone, 81 of Wilson went to heaven on Monday, February 10, 2025. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, February 15, 2025, with the family receiving friends immediately following at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. Her son, Christopher Stone will officiate. 

Jane and Jim were married for fifty-seven years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Jane will be missed and thought of often with wonderful memories and smiles that will touch the heart of her loved ones. She loved her church and church family. She served on the board and cooked for many occasions. Jane loved living life to its fullest; shopping, cooking, sewing, gardening and had many other interests.

 Jane is survived by her sons, Christopher Stone and wife, Kim of Wilson and Jimmy Stone and wife, Stephanie of China Grove; granddaughter, Taylor Binkley; grandsons, Daniel Stone, Keegan Hoffstetlen and Payton Hoffstetlen and her great-grandsons, Rayden Binkley and Dustin Binkley.

 She is preceded in death by her loving husband of fifty-seven years, James Ray Stone.
