December 22, 1934 – June 23, 2014

Billy Ray Litaker, Sr., 79, of Wilson passed away Monday.  A funeral service will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Joyner’s Funeral Home.  Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park.  The Rev. Jonathan Ange will officiate. The family will receive friends Saturday, from 12:00 noon until 1:45 p.m., at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, and other times at home. Bill is survived by his wife, Faye Tedder Litaker; his son, Billy Ray Litaker, Jr. and wife, Sheryle of Alberta, Canada; his daughter, Billie Ruth Hovel and husband, Bobby of Port Charlotte, FL; three grandsons, Chris Wilkins, Danny Wilkins, and Steven Litaker; several great-grandchildren; one sister, Barbara Moser of Yadkinville; two brothers, Joel Preston Litaker of Kernersville and Joel Litaker of Winston-Salem; and two beloved pets, Zack and Zoey. He was preceded in death by his son, Steve Litaker,  parents, Dennis and Mattie Nelson Litaker, one sister, Annie Culler, and three brothers, Henry Litaker, J.C. Litaker, and Richard Litaker.
