Billy Daniel Lollis, Sr. December 29, 1937 – July 21, 2015 Billy Daniel Lollis, Sr., of Wilson passed away Tuesday. A celebration of his life will be held 7 - 9 p.m. Saturday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. Billy was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grand father and friend to all that knew him. He will be thought of often with loving memories and will be greatly missed. Billy resided at Avante, he loved it so much he considered it his second home. Billy is survived by his wife, Frances Lucille Lollis of Hixon, Tennessee; his daughters, Denise Brantley of Stantonsburg and Debra Carraway and husband, Randy Todd of Stantonsburg; his granddaughters, Jennifer Brantley of Stantonsburg, Brandee Sowers and husband, David of Kinston, Kayla Jones and husband, Michael of Ayden, and Donna Lollis of Rocky Mount; his grandson, Shane Lollis of Stantonsburg and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sons, Donald Lollis and Billy Lollis, Jr.; his parents, William and Annie Sue South Lollis, and his sister, Mary Campbell.
