Billy Ray Lucas, Sr. January 20, 1934 – May 28, 2019 Billy Ray Lucas, Sr., 85 of Wilson passed away Tuesday.  His funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, Wilson.  Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park, Wilson.  Major Al Smith will officiate. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6 – 8 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson and other times at the home of his son, Billy Ray Lucas, Jr. Billy is survived by his son, Billy Ray Lucas, Jr. and wife, Kim; daughter, Glenda Lou Lucas Randolph; grandsons, Nathan Barnett, Lucas Barnett and Randy Glen Randolph; granddaughters, Stella Marie Randolph, Traci Randolph Brown and Kristin Miller; seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Wanda Lou Hinchey Lucas; parents, William Lloyd Lucas and Mittie Ella Mason Lucas; brothers, William Lloyd Lucas, J.W. “Jim” Lucas, William O. \"Jack\" Lucas and Luther Thurman Lucas and his sisters, Dollie Mae Lucas West and Hazel Lucas.
