Billy Randolph Waddell September 18, 1935 – October 3, 2018 Billy Randolph Waddell, 83, of Wilson passed away Wednesday. His funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, Wilson. Interment to follow in Maplewood Cemetery, Wilson. The Rev. Sonny Griswold to officiate. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson and other times at the home of his brother, Jackie. Billy is survived by his sisters, Joyce Brantley and husband, Melvin of Deep Run, Faye Perry and husband, Bobby of Sims, Linda Boykin and husband, Joe of Wilson and Brenda Crocker and husband, Jimmy of Lucama; his brothers, Jackie Waddell and wife, Peggy of Wilson, Jimmy Waddell of Bailey, and Jerry Waddell of Wilson and his step-son, Roby Turner of Durham. He was preceded in death by his wife, Minnie Ann Murphy Waddell; parents, James Marvin and Estelle B. Waddell and his brothers, Rudolph Waddell and Bobby Waddell.
