Bobby Ray Combs August 24, 1953 – September 5, 2021 Bobby Ray Combs, 68 of Elm City passed away Sunday. A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, September 20, 2021 in Evergreen Memorial Park. Rev. Rusty Russell will officiate. Bobby was a soft-spoken man, that had a big heart. Anyone who knew him knew he had an endless collection of knives and Amazon packages. He loved fishing and seeing the mountains. Bobby loved everyone from his wife, Diane to the strangers he met on the street. He was a simple man, but a happy one. Bobby is survived by his wife, Diane Curlings Combs; daughters, Christie Kerwan and husband, Mike, and Brittany Curlings and John; granddaughters, Peyton Ellis, Willow and Charlie; grandsons, John Michael, and Tanner; sisters, Cathy Baker and Donna Richardson (Gray); brothers, Jody Joyner and Kevin Joyner and wife, Lori, and a host of nieces and nephews.
