Bobby Gerald Etheridge November 27, 1958 – September 29, 2015 Bobby Gerald Etheridge, 56, of Wilson passed away Tuesday. His funeral service will be conducted 7 p.m. Friday at Joyner’s Funeral Home. The Rev. Bill Groce and Dean Etheridge will officiate. The family will receive friends Friday evening immediately following the service at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. Bobby is survived by his daughters, Brittany Etheridge and Haley Etheridge both of Wilson; his son, Jody Etheridge of Rocky Mount; his grandchildren, Madison Wells, Caroline Watson, Callie Pearce, Julee, Jody Gray, Christopher, Breanna and Jaxon Etheridge; his mother, Doris Etheridge Burdette and husband, Gary of Wilson, and his brothers, Skeeter Etheridge and wife, Lea Ann of Lucama, Scotty Etheridge of Wilson and Dean Etheridge of Wilson. He was preceded in death by his father, Leonard Etheridge. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting memorials in Bobby’s memory to help pay for the end of life expenses, Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson.
