Bradley Charles Lucas, 39, of Wilson passed away Monday.  Memorial services will be conducted 7 p.m. Tuesday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway.  The family will receive friends immediately following the service Tuesday evening at Joyner’s Funeral Home. The Rev. Jerry Nelson will officiate. Brad was a Christian who loved the Lord and was a member of Westmorland Pentecostal Holiness Church.  He was a loving husband, father, son, brother and friend to all that knew him.  Brad’s greatest passions were spending time with his children.  He was a Royal Ranger Commander, a farmer, a heavy equipment operator and he worked well with his hands.  Brad was a big fan of NASCAR and John Force Drag Racing, his favorite driver was Carl Edwards and anyone that drove a Ford.  Along with racing he also enjoyed all sports and was a big fan of the Pittsburg Steelers and UNC.  He loved to watch fireworks, hog killings, fishing, gardening and raising farm animals.  Brad was one of the most kind hearted persons you would ever meet.  He was loved by all that knew him and he will be dearly missed and thought of often with wonderful memories that will bring smiles and joy to those that loved him. Brad is survived by his wife, Lillian “Denny” Winbourne Lucas of the home; his daughter, Hanna Lynn Lucas of the home; his sons, Dylan Paul Lucas of the home and Collan Braddy of Sims; his mother, Shelby Brantley Lucas of Wilson; his sisters, Cathy Rose of Durham, Connie Lucas of Wilson and Cindy Williford and husband, Ray of Wilson and his brother, Terry Lewis and wife, Lesa of Winston-Salem. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Ralph Lucas and his brother, Jeff Lewis. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Bradley Charles Lucas Family Fund, c/o Terry Lewis, 361 Orchard Park Drive, Advance, NC  27006. Condolences may be directed to www.joyners.net.
