Brandy Denise McVey October 12, 1984 – September 17, 2019 Brandy “Boo Boo” McVey, 34, of Morehead City passed away Tuesday after a brief illness at WakeMed surrounded by her family.  The family will receive friends Friday evening from 7 – 9 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson and other times at the home of Jeff and Robin Boykin. Brandy is survived by her sons, Omar Morgan of Morehead and Jonathon Hall of West Virginia; mother, Kathy B. McVey of Morehead City; her father and step-mother, Dennis McVey and Rose of Kenly; brother, Will McVey and wife, Shanna of Vienna, Virginia; niece, Adriana McVey of Vienna, Virginia; grandmother, Winnie McVey of Wilson and grandfather, Fletcher Blackmon, Jr. of Wilson.
