Brenda Hawley Cannon July 10, 1947 – January 6, 2016 Brenda Hawley Cannon, 68, of Sims passed away Wednesday. Her funeral will be conducted 1 p.m. Saturday at Joyner’s Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Bailey Town Cemetery, Bailey. The Rev. Billy Toler and the Rev. Anderson Barnes will officiate. The family will receive friends 11:00 a.m. – 12:45 p.m. prior to the service at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. Brenda is survived by her husband, Charlie Lee Cannon; her sister, Jo Ann Poole of Goldsboro, and her brother, Tony Hawley of Buckhorn. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mallie Hawley and Flossie Mitchell Hawley, and her brothers, Sherrill Hawley, Ricky Hawley, and Roger Hawley.
