Brenda Faye Heath Simpson April 6, 1949 – February 6, 2016 Brenda Faye Heath Simpson, 66, of Lucama passed away Saturday. Her funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Springhill Presbyterian Church, 7335 Springfield School Road, Lucama. Interment will follow in Springhill Presbyterian Church Cemetery. The Rev. Sefton Strickland and the Rev. DeWayne Eakes will officiate. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6 – 8 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. Brenda is survived by her daughter, Sarah Lee Simpson Smith and husband, Darrell of Four Oaks; her granddaughters, Cassie and Samantha Smith; her grandson, Scotty Smith; her companion, David Loflin; step-brother, Elliot Proctor of Jacksonville; brother-in-law, Mike Spence of Seven Springs, and several nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Sarah Heath and her sisters, Kay Howell and Sarah Spence.
