Brenda Lamm Jackson

Brenda Lamm Jackson June 29, 1948 – January 14, 2016 Brenda Lamm Jackson, 67, of Wilson passed away Thursday. Her funeral services will be conducted 7 p.m. Monday at Joyner’s Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Evergreen Memorial Park, Wilson. The Rev. Bill Groce will officiate. The family will receive friends Monday evening immediately following the service at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson and other times at the home. Brenda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to all who knew her; she will be greatly missed and thought of often. She was retired from the post office after thirty-five years of service. Brenda is survived by her loving husband of thirty-one years, Dennis Markell Jackson of the home; her sons, Ken Lucas and wife, Karen of Bailey, Trent Lucas and wife, Patricia of Black Creek, and Brad Jackson of Jamestown; her granddaughters, Morgen Lucas and Hannah Lucas; grandson, Jonathon Leyson; her great-grandson, Damien Gooch; sisters, Debra Simmons and husband, Billy of Tennessee, and Jenny Beau and husband, Danny of Newport, and her nieces and nephews, Susan Hart Traylor of Tennessee, Hartley and Hayden Traylor and Brett Simmons serving with the US Navy. She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard Thomas Lamm and Loretta Hawley Lamm.
