Brenda Kaye Joyner Deans

Brenda Kaye Joyner Deans, 78, of Nashville passed away Sunday, January 12, 2025. A private graveside service will be held. 

 The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m. Thursday evening January 16, 2025, at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson and other times at the home of her daughter, Amy Noland.

 Brenda was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend to all who knew her. Her grandchildren were the apple of her eye, and her great-children were the world to her. Brenda was a member of White Oak Hill FWB Church. She will be dearly missed and thought of often with wonderful memories.

 Brenda is survived by her daughters, Susan Joyner and husband, George, and Amy Noland; grandchildren, Stacey Deans, Reva Whitley and husband, Ashley, Danyelle Noland, Mark Deans, Alex Noland and wife, Blair, and Kayelon Joyner and fiancé, Zach; great-grandchildren, Brycen, Xander, Kashton and Jake and her sisters, Linda Modlin, Sherry Joyner, and Elaine Perry.

 She was preceded in death by her husband, Starlon Randolph Deans, Sr.; son, Starlon Randolph “Randy” Deans, Jr.; grandson, Tracy Deans; parents, Randolph and Hildred “Nanny” Joyner, and her brothers, J.C. Joyner and Doug Joyner.
