Brenda Rose Williams O’Neal
October 28, 1946 – January 27, 2016
Brenda Rose Williams O’Neal, 69, of Elm City passed away Wednesday. Her funeral service will be conducted 3 p.m. Saturday at Thompson Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church, 5620 Thompson Chapel Church Road, Wilson. Interment will following in Thompson Chapel Cemetery. The Rev. Bill Pike will officiate.
The family will receive friends 2 – 2:45 p.m. prior to the service at Thompson Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Brenda is survived by her daughters, Robin Gardner of Elm City, Tabatha Stancil and husband, David of Selma, Paula Jean Pittman of Wilson, and Dena Michelle Dilda of Fayetteville; her sons, Johnny “Doug” Pearson and wife, Charman of Macclesfield, Charles H. O’Neal, Jr. of Wilson, William Clay O’Neal of Fuquay Varina, and Charles Todd O’Neal of Wilson; fifteen grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; numerous step-grandchildren and several step great-grandchildren. her sisters, Katie Joyner of Walstonburg, Judith Poythress and husband, Jim of Elm City, Marie Boyette of Kenly, Linda Thorne and husband, Donald of Black Creek, and Norma Williams and husband, Danny of Elm City; her brother, Charlie Williams of Kinston, and special friend, Al Weaver.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Henry O’Neal and her parents, Roscoe Giles Williams and Essie Mae Bowers Williams.
