Brenda Cross Woodard, 68, of Fremont passed away Friday.  Her funeral service will be conducted 1 p.m. Tuesday at West Nash United Methodist Church, 2106 West Nash Street, Wilson.  Interment will follow in the Davis Family Cemetery, Frank Price Church Road, Fremont.  The Rev. Stuart Milton will officiate.   The family will receive friends 6 – 8 p.m. Monday evening at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson and other times at 6477 Jaycross Road, Fremont.   Brenda is survived by her daughters, Dawn Hemp and husband, John of Wilson, Renee W. Howard and husband Tracy of Fremont and Misty Hardison and husband, Luke of New York; her grandchildren, Rachel Hemp, Chelsea Hemp, Jacob Hemp, Dylan Howard, Brandy Howard and Benson Hardison; her great-granddaughter, Ella Grace Crumpler; her sisters, Myrtle Hamrick and husband, Martin of Cary, Kaye Sexton and husband, Mike of Fremont and Darlene VanNorman of Fremont; special nieces and nephews, Michael, Keith, Jeffrey, John, Jay and Allison and a host of other loving family.   She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Clem Woodard.   Flowers are welcome or memorials may be directed to the West Nash United Methodist Church, PO Box 8298, Wilson, NC  27893.   Condolences may be directed to www.joyners.net.
