Caleb Christian Winstead

Caleb Christian Winstead is walking on the streets of gold as he passed away Wednesday, June 12, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, June 15, 2024, at Restoration Purpose Church, Bailey. Interment will follow in Maplewood Cemetery, Wilson. Pastor Jason Gabbard will officiate. 

The family will receive friends Saturday afternoon from 1:30 – 2:45  p.m. at Restoration Church, 5192 Highway 264 Alt, Bailey and other times at the home. 

Caleb was a loving son and a good brother that loved being around his family and church family. He was a young soul with a heart of gold, that will be missed dearly. Caleb is now walking hand in hand with Jesus. 

Caleb is survived by his parents, Andy and Tangy Winstead of the home; brother, Mark Winstead and wife, Bridgette of Kenly; sister, Kaitlyn Winstead of Wilson; brother, and Zachary Winstead of the home; maternal grandmother, Nellie Fisher Whitley of Wilson; uncle, Donnie Webb of Wilson; aunt, Belinda Davis and husband, Mike of Kenly; nephews, Landyn and Elijah Winstead; several loving cousins, and special friends, Tori Lyndon, Shanna and Selah Gabbard. 

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, J.T. Winstead and Gerladine Webb Winstead, and maternal grandfather, James Whitley.
