Callie Bissette June 20, 1946 – November 7, 2020 Allard Calbreth “Callie” Bissette, was born on June 20, 1946 and died November 7, 2020. Callie was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and uncle. In addition to the love of his family, he enjoyed golf, baseball, and watching racing. He served his church as a deacon for many years and served his community as a member of the Bailey Fire Department and as a member of various town boards. His funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Tuesday in the Sanctuary of New Sandy Hill OFWB Church, 8021 New Sandy Hill Church Road, Bailey. Interment will follow in Bailey Town Cemetery. The Rev. Anderson Barnes will officiate. His service will be live streamed on Facebook live through the New Sandy Hill OFWB Church. The family will receive friends Tuesday afternoon from 1 – 2:45 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall at New Sandy Hill OFWB Church, Bailey following appropriate health and safety guidelines. Callie is survived by his sons, Corey Bissette and wife, Janet, Charles Bissette and wife, Kelly and Matthew Bissette and wife, Leah; grandchildren, Megan, Anna, Alex and Mackenzie Bissette; sister, Beth Frazier and husband, Bob; three sisters-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis Phillips Bissette; parents, Allard and Francis Bissette and four brothers-in-law; sister-in-law and a nephew.
