Carl Tracy Barnes, 63, of Wilson passed away Wednesday.  Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Friday at Joyner’s Funeral Home.  Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park, Wilson. The Rev. Dr. Doug Murray and Rev. Phil Baucom will officiate. The family will receive friends 1 – 1:45 p.m. Friday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway and other times at the home of Keith Barnes at 207 N. Connor Street, Wilson. Tracy was a computer programmer with Nexans.  He graduated from Fike High School; where he was a member of the 1967 Fike High School Championship football team.  Tracy was a Marine that served his country with honor and faith. Tracy is survived by his brother, Keith Barnes and wife, Gale of Wilson; his nephew, Will Barnes and wife, Christine of Charlottesville, VA; his special friends, Cecil and Cheryl Bradley and his canine friends, Bart and Boo Boo. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Alma Treadway Barnes and his beloved furry friend, Red.
