Carl Franklin Joyner January 24, 1952 – January 19, 2015 Carl Franklin Joyner, 62, of Wilson passed away Monday. His funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at Joyner’s Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Maplewood Cemetery. The Rev. Jesse Horne will officiate. The family will receive friends 10 – 10:45 a.m. Saturday morning prior to his service at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. Carl was a salesman for twenty-five years with W&W Furniture Company. Carl is survived by his brothers, Dalton Earl Joyner and wife, Brenda “BJ” of Wilson and Ernest Wayne Joyner and wife, Joy of Wilson; his half-brother, Gary Bardin and wife, Judy of Wilson; his nieces, Tamatha Crouson and husband, Luke of Jacksonville and Camey Watson and husband, Timothy of Wilson; his nephew, Jarrett Joyner of Wilson; three great-nieces and one great-nephew. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest Jack Bunn and Eloise Brantley Bunn and his nephew, Quinton Joyner.
