Carl E. “ Boo” Whitfield III September 15, 1963 - October 14, 2016 Carl E. “ Boo” Whitfield III, 53, of Spring Hope died Friday. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Batchelor Family Cemetery. The Rev. Richard Daughtridge will officiate. The family will receive friends 7-9 p.m. Monday at Joyner`s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. Carl is survived by his wife, Ginger Price Whitfield of the home; his son, Carl Edward “BJ” Whitfield IV, and wife Brittany of Wilson; his daughter, April Renee Whitfield  of Spring Hope; his mother, Gail Whitfield of Spring Hope; his granddaughter, Hayden Renee Graziano of Spring Hope; his sister Wende Whitfield Trew and husband, Scott of Wendell; his paternal grandmother, Myrtle Whitfield of Williamsburg, VA, several nieces and an aunt and uncle.
