Cassie Capps Lamm October 19, 1919 – July 2018 Cassie Capps Lamm 98 of Wilson passed away Sunday. Her funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Friday, August 3rd, 2018 at Joyner’s Funeral Home, Wilson. Interment will follow in Maplewood Cemetery, Wilson. The Rev. Ray Wells will officiate. The family will receive friends Friday afternoon from 2 – 2:45 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. Cassie is survived by her son-in-law, Hubert Reives Jones of Oxford; grandchildren, Diane Jones Aycock and husband, Dale of Greenville, Sherry Yvonne Pierce and partner, Lynn of Wilson, and Kenneth Carl Jones and partner, Kelly of New Bern, and her great-grandchildren, Kristen Dayle Aycock and partner, Steve of Greenville, Kenneth Reives Jones of Charlotte, and Maggie Katelyn Jones of Charlotte. She was preceded in death by her husband, Waylon Bronson Lamm; children, Dorothy Pearl Lamm and Ruby Jean Lamm Temple; parents, Addie Calvin Capps and Mammie Balance Capps, and her sisters, Minnie Keen, Rola Bass, Dorothy Collier and Mae Horner.
