Catherine Jean Joyner Perry February 8, 1949 – July 24, 2020 Catherine “Nana Cat” Jean Joyner Perry, 71 of Wilson passed away Friday. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Evergreen Memorial Park, Wilson. The Rev. James Murray will officiate. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6 – 8 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson and other times at the home of her brother, Dennis. “Nana Cat” is survived by her son, Marty Perry and wife, Robin; granddaughter, Tabitha Perry; grandson, Shawn Perry and wife, Jennifer; great-grandchild, Ava Marie Perry; brother, Dennis E. Joyner and wife, Ginny; several loving nieces and nephews and her wonderful dog, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer “Bud” and Polly Nesbitt Joyner.
