Celeste Marie Jankowski Heddinger

Celeste Marie Jankowski Heddinger March 16, 1928 – March 20, 2020 Celeste “Sally” Heddinger 92 of Wilson went home to be with the Lord on Friday, March 20. She was born in Baltimore, Maryland and nicknamed Sally by a dear aunt. Sally was married for over seventy-one years to the love of her life, Charles Foster, until his death in June of 2017. After retiring they moved to The Villages in Florida which they called Disneyland for Seniors and lived there for twenty-four years before moving to Wilson in 2014. Sally was a member of Grace Baptist church and loved her church family. She was “mom” to everyone and loved life. Sally is survived by her daughter, Claire Stuikis and husband, Bruce of Wilson; son, Karl Bruce Heddinger and wife, Mary of Baltimore, Maryland; two grandchildren and four great-children; sisters, Stephanie Dee of Baltimore, Maryland and Jeanne Goss of The Villages, Florida and her brother, Joseph Jankowski and wife, Jeanette of The Villages, Florida, along with several nieces and nephews.
