Charles "Chuck" Albert Lyons

Charles “Chuck” Albert Lyons, 65 of Wilson passed away Wednesday, February 28, 2024.  Chuck was a loving father, grandfather, brother, and friend to all who knew him.  He will be greatly missed and thought of often.   Chuck graduated from South Dade High School in 1979.  He joined the Navy after graduation where he travelled the world as an aviation support technician on aircraft carriers during the Pacific and Atlantic Ocean cruises.   After his enlistment, Chuck worked for Wrangler Jeans and the Ardagh Group servicing production equipment.  

Chuck is survived by his daughter, Ashleigh Lyon and grandson, “Malakai” of Fremont; his brothers, Ambrose “Frank” Lyons of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Andrew Lyons and wife, Clare of Kendall Florida, James “Tony” Lyons and wife, June of Homestead, Florida, Patrick Lyons and wife, Tracy of Spartanburg, South Carolina, and William “Billy” Lyons of Spartanburg, South Carolina; sisters, Ida Marie Hegg of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Theresa “Terri” Chirinos and husband, Carol of Evans, Georgia, and his eleven nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ambrose F. Lyons, III and Shirley R. Lyons.
