Charles Wilber Curlings, Sr., 76, of Wilson passed away Thursday.  A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, June 7, 2014, at Joyner’s Funeral Home.  The Rev. Ray Wells will officiate. The family will receive friends Saturday afternoon immediately following the service at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. Charles is survived by his wife, Earline Curlings of the home; his son, Charles Curlings, Jr. and wife, Tassie of Spring Hope; his daughter, Sandra Curlings of Emerald Isle; one great-grandchild; his brothers, John Curlings and wife, Nona of Wilson, Mickey Curlings and wife, Rose of Red Oak, Jimmy Curlings and wife, Mary of Washington, Dusty Curlings and wife, JoAnne of Washington, and Tommy Curlings and wife, Hilda of Tarboro; and his sisters, Dean Coats and Dinah Parker, both of Cocoa, Florida. He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Leslie Ann Curlings, and his parents, John Theodore and Bertha Cockrell Curlings. Condolences may be directed to www.joyners.net.
