Charles William Dixon

Charles William Dixon April 2, 1928 – December 8, 2016 Charles William “Billy” Dixon, 88, of Elm City passed away Thursday. A private service will be held for the family at a later date. Billy is survived by his loving wife, Juanita Gray Dixon of the home; his son, Charles “Steve” Dixon and wife, Susan of Raleigh; his grandchildren, Parker, Cameron, and Clayton, and his sister, Juanita Demrick of Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Pearson and Blanche Morris Dixon. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Charles’ honor to the Food Bank of Eastern North Carolina, 1924 Capitol Boulevard, Raleigh, North Carolina 27604 or the St. Timothy’s Episcopal School, 4523 Six Forks Road, Raleigh, North Carolina 27609.
